What are Ports?

Ports are the shipping areas located right by the rivers of major shipping channels. These are used to load amd unload all of the ships that come in and out of of them. Ports make money by docking the ships, offloading their cargo onto trucks to go to stores, reloading the ship with new cargo, and letting the ship go. Savannah has a very large port which is the third largest in the world. These ports need a lot of workers and a lot of heavy machinery. The ideas that were listed will help making transportation easier and make sorting and landing some of the cargo easier.

The trade pack terminal is a automated system where the cargo is offloaded from the ships to the mini cranes which take them to the automatic sorters which sort and load the cargo. This allows for the cargo to be offloaded faster then when operated by the people. This also lets more people to be working in different things then loading and unloading the cargo from the ships. The automated system also allows for a faster routine of loading the cargo onto the ships. This lets more ships leave the ports faster which brings in more money without actually having to spend more money on more workers.
